Should we tap into Russian fast growing internet market?

comScore released a brand new Press Release earlier today, highlighting their discovery that Russia has the fastest growing internet population in all of Europe (based from data collected between June 2007 & June 2008)!

comScore, Russia, Europe, Russia Has Fastest Growing Internet Population in Europe

Other Interesting Facts
  • Netherland has the highest internet penetration/adoption in Europe.
  • UK internet users spent an average of 28.5 hours per user per month, making them the heaviest internet users in Europe.
  • Germans like to read stuffs online (no wonder they are smarter than everyone else). German internet users viewed an average of 2,906 pages (page views) per user, the highest in Europe.
Now, let’s go back to Mother Russia. Their internet market is definitely booming right now, just like China’s. I’m just a casual internet marketer but I can see that the Russian internet market is a huge gold mine that is getting bigger and bigger each year. Their internet penetration percentages will surely rise in the next few years. There’s no doubt about that!

Perhaps it is time to hire Russian middlemen to push or introduce products and services outside Mother Russia to those Russians.

Get cracking, folks! Time is money!
