A new patent-pending technology was introduced yesterday and it caught my attention right away because it introduced something unheard of in the world of data storage. The new technology allows you to store lots of data on plain papers! How does it do that? Read on to find out.

Now You Can Store & Back Up Lots of Data on Paper! Thanks to Livedrive

The new technology was just introduced by Livedrive and the company’s CEO claims that they can store huge petabytes of data onto A2-sized papers without any degradation. Now comes the interesting part that will explain to you how the new technology stores data on papers. Believe it or not, it involves extensive use of barcodes! Yes, the new technology converts data into highly encrypted barcodes that can be printed onto sheets of papers. If the need arises, you may then restore your data by scanning the barcodes.

Livedrive currently offers data printing and secure storage for barcoded data, location is unknown but it is somewhere deep in UK.
