Loopt with TechCrunch: Tech geeks assemble!

It looks like we have good news for those tech geeks following TechCrunch, Loopt has came up with a special social network for them. With this new social network, TechCrunch readers (tech geeks) can connect, share their locations, statuses, comments and even photos with fellow TechCrunch readers.

Well, I’m not really a tech geek but I do read TechCrunch daily and I would love to join the TechCrunch Network on Loopt. Unfortunately, the new social network is not open to those living outside the big old USA.

If you are interested in joining, make sure that you have an iPhone because Loopt with TechCrunch is only available on iPhone at the moment. I found that weird since Loopt actually supports other types of phones. I wonder why Loopt didn’t provide support on other phones but I guess I will never know the answer. Only Loopt and TechCrunch know what is really going on. Perhaps they were paid by Apple or something. :-)
