Facebook: Has a new homepage & released Facebook for iPhone ver. 2.0

Heads up! It looks like Facebook has a brand new homepage and it comes with a brand new tagline too. Check out their new tagline; ‘Facebook is a social utility that connects you with the people around you’.

Facebook also released Facebook for iPhone version 2.0. I have seen the previous version but I haven’t check out the new version one yet but let’s hear what Greg Kumparak from TechCrunch has said about it:
In version 2.0, the News Feed has been completely overhauled to match item-for-item with that of the site itself, throwing news posts, relationship and interest updates, and all photo uploads into the mix. Furthermore, users are now able to comment on any given bit of news, or limit the feed to only the categories they wish to peruse.

Too bad, Facebook’s latest offerings are still not good enough to outclass MySpace. That’s okay. As long as Facebook continues to improve their existing services and features, the chance to beat MySpace is there. Perhaps Facebook should watch out for MySpace Music. It would be great if Facebook could produce something similar! :-)
