Baidu: Slowly but surely going after Google

Do you know that Baidu, the Chinese search engine is slowly but surely gaining strength and momentum in the global search market share?

TechCrunch earlier today reported that Baidu is now the world’s third largest search engine, right behind Google and Yahoo!. Just take a look at the numbers presented by TechCrunch down below.

Yahoo! better be careful, Baidu is practically breathing down their neck right now. I would not be surprised if one day Baidu overtakes Yahoo! and becomes the world’s second largest search engine!

How to submit sites to Baidu

First and foremost, let me just say that it is not easy to get listed in Baidu. You can try to submit your sites but Baidu does not guarantee your sites will be crawled. Baidu has some mysterious listing guidelines and nobody really knows what they are.

Good luck!
