Google hits 1 Trillion!

No! No! Not 1 trillion dollars; don’t get me wrong. Google is super rich but they are nowhere near the 1 trillion dollar mark yet.

I’m talking about their Google index. The Official Google Blog yesterday reported that their Google index has hit 1 trillion unique URLs on the World Wide Web. That’s a whopping figure alright!

Personally, I think the number should be more! There is a strong possibility that Google might have missed lots of other URLs. You have to consider the fact that many webmasters told webbots and spiders not to index their websites. I have seen a lot of mysterious sites with total robots exclusion tags on their robots.txt files!

Another proof showing why blogging for money is stupid

Now that you know just how big the World Wide Web is at the moment, do you really think that you can make lots of money from blogging?

I don’t care what those Blogging Gurus say. It is almost impossible to make big money from blogging!

That’s why ProBloggers are now desperately turning to Google AdWords to drive in traffic and promote their blogs in the World Wide Web. Even Malaysia’s first full time blogger (blog reachable at LiewCF Dot Com) used Google AdWords to get some traffic and backlinks!

Blogging for money is so dead!
