Dell Adamo XPS specs leaked but remains a mysterious MacBook Air-killer

Do you know that someone out there has leaked out specification details of MacBook Air-killer Adamo XPS, the new super thin laptop from Dell? Despite the leakage, Dell Adamo XPS remains mysterious but read on to discover what Dell has to offer under the hood of their new MacBook Air-killer.

Before reading any further, let me remind you that the specs that you’re about to read afterwards came from unknown sources, not Dell. Now, read on:

• Powered by a 1.4GHz or 1.9GHz Intel Core 2 dual-core processor
• Intel GMA X4500MHD GPU gives Dell Adamo XPS the necessary visual/graphics bling-bling
• Comes with 4GB of DDR3 dual channel memory awesomeness (read RAM)
• Has a 13.4” WXGA LED-backlit screen
• Runs on a Solid-state drive with capacity choices of either 128GB or 180GB

That’s all we have right now but here’s the bad news. It seems that Dell Adamo XPS has a problem, it only managed to get a rating of 3.3 on Windows 7 (Windows Experience Index) and other tech bloggers say that this is the reason why Dell is playing dilly-dally (no launch date etc etc) with us.

MacBook geeks can rejoice now, MacBook Air’s reputation is still intact. ;)
