SIRODA released their latest UK network speed tests (consider it as a mobile broadband speed test survey) earlier today and the results clearly show O2 is the fastest mobile network operator in the UK. SIRODA’s UK network speed tests were conducted over a period of 60 days at 150 locations in the UK. In London, SIRODA discovered that O2 provided the fastest average web page access at a respectable 1.7 seconds and when it comes to downloading music tracks, O2 scored the fastest music download rate in 12 major UK cities (out of 20).

O2 is of course very delighted to hear the test results and I’m not surprised to see that they have released similar news via their News Centre. ;)
