How to get free traffic from Gmail Chat/Google Talk

As an affiliate marketer, I have lots of friends and I often use Google Talk (straight from my Gmail account) to chat with my friends. A few months ago, I put a custom message to my Gmail Chat (read Google Talk); “Blogging @ http://homebiss.blogspot.com” and left it there permanently as my default status.

Nothing happened in the first few days but as the days gone by and I have more and more new friends/contacts, free traffic started to flow to my blog and it is getting bigger each month. I’m quite impressed and it is enough for me to give it a special mention here on this blog.

Try it! :)

Note:

If you only have a few contacts, just forget the whole getting-free-traffic thing. The magic will only work when you have lots of contacts and your contacts regularly use Gmail and/or Google Talk.
