I’m sure you have seen such plugins before, the one I have today pretty much does the same thing. It allows you to create a nice gallery of images that you have posted along with your blog posts and automatically rotates them every few seconds. Galleries are best placed above the fold but you can place yours anywhere you like with this cool WordPress plugin that should work on all versions (including WordPress 2.7.1).
