Email Alternative: Zumbox’s online postal service

Zumbox is a weird alternative to emails, giving users the ability to send common mails, printable documents and multimedia files from one street address to another.

postal service online, email alternative, zumbox

Zumbox describes itself as a paperless postal service and so far they have created more than 150 million mailboxes, that’s practically one mailbox for every street address in America. Through Zumbox, individual users and businesses can send electronic mails to any street address in America and mail recipients can receive and also view their incoming mails by typing in their street addresses at Zumbox’s home page. Zumbox is free for personal use unless you intend to send lots of mails, those who want to send lots of mail will have to pay 2 cents per mailing address.

Interesting service but will it catch on?

I’m not sure whether or not Zumbox is a great alternative to snail mails or emails but give it a try if you’re interested.
