Yesterday was Election Day for Americans and the excitement has driven everybody to news sites such as CNN and many other American political blogs. Do you know just how much traffic they’re getting yesterday?

How about 27 million unique visitors and an amazing 276 million page views (Thanks to TechCrunch for sharing the figures with us)!

Yes, that’s what CNN was getting yesterday! In any other normal days, CNN normally gets a daily average of 5 million unique visitors and 35 million page views. Just look at the differences!

Note: CNN also introduced holograms to Americans yesterday, check out the first hologram on American TV.
