What to do when tech geeks lose their jobs

Those days of arrogant and flamboyant tech geeks/nerds are probably over, at least during this current period of global economic uncertainty. Everywhere I go in the blogosphere, people are talking about layoffs and closures, topics that give tech geeks/nerds the creeps.

So, do you have geeky/nerdy friends that just lost their jobs or about to lose their jobs? If yes, perhaps you should watch the following video. Your geeky/nerdy friends need friends the most right now, give them some comfort please. Make them feel needed. :-)
