eBay sucks, should we boycott them?

The answer is probably yes!

eBay has always been a gold mine for me and I’m still making money on them even though it is lesser than the last few years. When eBay increased their fees and made it harder for sellers to make money on their site, I began to look for other alternatives and there were plenty. Suffice to say that I have been boycotting eBay in silence for quite some already. :-)

If you are new to eBay, I strongly recommend you folks to visit PowerSellersUnite Dot Com and find out what this is all about. Experienced sellers should understand this problem all too well but my worries are with the newbies. They might lose money instead of making them on eBay.

Let your friends know about this, folks!

I was ebay power seller. I sold over $7 Mil and paid $1/2 mil in ebay fee between 2001-2008. Early 2008 my account was suspended for low customer satisfaction ratio. I maintained 98.2% for all 7 years. I opened a few new accounts and all of them have 100% positive feedback but got suspended because I had a suspended ebay account. I have no other problem with ebay.
If you are a businessman and one of your customer buy $75,000/year (merchandise/service) from you, would you treat your customer this way?? I now doing wholesale toys, testing other online auction site, and selling through web sites. I am able to survive. Ebay is not a businessman.
You can buy my toys at www.pcpartusa.com
Thanks you for your time.

There's a site Random Plaza that is designed to fix all problems with eBay and other community marketplace websites. randomplaza.com

Read the features. The site will be good if I can actually get other people to actually post listings on it, which despite it being free is by far the hardest part, harder than anything. As it is I can't buy advertising till I have a lot of products and I don't have time to list tens of thousands items myself.

You know I have been boycotting since May 2008 and I closed both of my eBay & Paypal accounts. They didn't listen. They didn't need us, so we didn't need them. I found Bonanzle.com July 14th and never looked back. It is my happy home and the fastest growing venue ever. Just look at the stats on PSU. Good Luck
