- Malaysians can certainly use their AmBank NexG Prepaid MasterCard cards to get their PayPal accounts verified for good. This verification process is known as PayPal Expanded Use program.
- However, Malaysians cannot withdraw or transfer funds from their PayPal accounts to their AmBank NexG Prepaid Mastercard cards. This is confirmed by AmBank’s Customer Care staff on the 21st of December 2007:
“Please be informed that you may use your AmBank NexG card for PayPal''s online transaction. However, you cannot directly transfer your PayPal''s fund to your NexG card account.”
- Every Malaysian can apply and use AmBank NexG Prepaid Mastercard.
- While it is quite easy to buy AmBank NexG PrePaid MasterCard Starter Packs from AmBank branches, it takes about 3 to 5 days before the card would be properly registered to your name. You can only use the card after successful registration.
- It takes AmBank a minimum of 3 weeks to send your PIN to your given address. Take note that you cannot access your account online without your PIN.

OMG!! I've just bought an ambank NexG and open up an acct. I thought i could withdraw paypal money since it can be used to verify the acct. I guess the only option is PB visa electron. I should've done more research b4 choosing ambank. I was blinded by the fact that i can get the card straight away and only wait for 5 days to activate it. Looks like fast activation is the only thing it offers. Sigh...
so, now u have 2 debit card lorr.. NexG for verifying PayPal, and AlRajhi for withdraw from PayPal.. How to withdraw to AlRajhi debit card..?

Withdrawing PayPal funds to AlRajhi VISA Debit Card is easy.
Make sure that you have added your AlRajhi VISA Debit Card on PayPal first. Once added, you can withdraw maximum of US500 per day from PayPal to your AlRajhi VISA Debit Card. Transactions should take anywhere from 4 to 5 working days.
