Your tweets are on Bing Twitter and Microsoft wants you to learn the Art of Retweeting

Bing has launched a new search engine that is totally dedicated towards indexing Twitter tweets from all over the world earlier today. Reports and reviews are all coming in right now but none seems to mention the fact that Microsoft wants Twitter birds to learn the Art of Retweeting.

When I first saw Bing Twitter, the first thing I noticed is the RT or retweet button that is nicely placed at the right hand corner (refer to the above screenshot) of each indexed tweet. This is something new that I have never seen before on other search engines such as Google or Collecta.

I don’t know what kind of a deal Microsoft has struck with Twitter but those RT/retweet buttons clearly show that both parties are very serious about this whole thing. Those RT/retweet buttons can also be considered as their way of encouraging Twitter birds to learn the fine Art of Retweeting where many failed miserably.

For a complete review of Bing Twitter, check out Search Engine Land. I’m done here today. Have fun with Bing Twitter! :)
