YouTube ‘In My Name’: Let’s combat global poverty together

YouTube Nonprofits and Activism announced their ‘In My Name’ campaign earlier today, it is a noble global campaign to combat global poverty and they want you to be a big part of it.

As of today, you are more than welcomed to upload videos along with your name, country and message to your present government about the need to sit down and discuss the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

If you are wondering what you will get by joining YouTube’s ‘In My Name’ global campaign, let me just tell you that you will get nothing from it. However, if you are lucky, your video might get loads of views. If you play your cards right, you can even drive loads of traffic to your site or blog. :-)
At the end of the program on November 1, a mash-up of the most powerful submissions from around the world will be broadcast directly to global leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, as proof that global citizens are holding them to their commitment to create a better world for everyone.
