Good news for Mobile Application Developers!

On September 9th 2008, MG Siegler from VentureBeat reported that more than 100 million applications have been downloaded from Apple App Store:
100 million is an incredible number. That’s the number of application downloads through Apple’s App Store so far. What’s even more incredible is that it’s hit this number in just 60 days.

Earlier today, Don Reisinger from TechCrunch gave us another amazing story. It seems that iTunes users downloaded more applications (more than 100 million applications so far) than songs, twice more!
There may only be over 12 million iPhones in the wild, but that hasn’t stopped iTunes users from downloading more than twice as many apps as songs during the store’s first two months of availability...

Mobile Application Developers should know what those figures mean. It only means one thing; it means that there are big money to be made from mobile applications and Apple App Store!
