This is just a quick post to mark the release of the Universal Geocoding Solution For The Entire World suite by NAC Geographic Products Inc. The Universal Geocoding Solution is part of the NAC Real-Time Geo-Services Suite and it is powered by Universal Address, enabling web apps to fetch location-based geocodes anytime, anywhere in the world!

Even though I’m a former GIS geek and have seen plenty of GIS apps in the past, I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to learn just a few minutes ago that very few countries in the world today have geocode addresses and this is what the new Universal Geocoding Solution hopes to solve. By using GPS and the Universal Address, the new Universal Geocoding Solution will provide web apps with highly accurate location-based geocodes via its NAC (Natural Area Coding) real-time conversion system. Here’s an example given by NAC Geographic Products Inc.:
“…instead of 10 Downing Street, London, United Kingdom, you can just use NAC: GZND RKHG to get to the British Prime Minister's Office.”
