GeoSearch’s newly redesigned Geospatial Careers website launched!

Not many people (including yours truly) knew that GeoSearch’s www.geosearch.com is the world’s first and oldest geospatial job site. It has been around for a quite a while, ever since October 12th 1995 and offers recruitment services in GIS, Geospatial Sciences, GPS and many other related fields. GeoSearch didn’t just recruit technical staffs; they also recruit management, sales and marketing staffs too.

Their newly redesigned site offers employers a much easier method to manage and administer corporate accounts and it comes complete with multiple logons per account. Employers can maintain their postings history, create and edit new ones where necessary. To help employers identify qualified candidates, they can use unlimited self-defined screening questions and scores are based upon the applicants’ responses. Tools are now available to help employers send responses via emails to applicants.

Job seekers on the other hand will find the newly redesigned site much faster than before. Pages will load much quicker and finding jobs should be much easier. Registered (free registration) job seekers will have their very own custom home page and they can post more than one profile/resume. GeoSearch supports resumes in plain texts and documents such as .pdf , .doc, .docx, and .rtf. The new site also has social media plug-ins that will help jobseekers follow the latest news, events and career opportunities.
