This is just another quick post to announce the release of GeoCalc 6.4.5 and the new version comes with some cool new features. What are those new features? What does the new version has to offer to GIS professionals? Read on to find out.

GeoCalc 6.4.5 released! Now supports Time Stamped Coordinate Reference Frames

GeoCalc is a full object-oriented coordinate conversion library for GIS developers and it has the same underlying functions with Geographic Calculator which happens to be one of the most popular coordinate conversion tools in the GIS world. With more than 12,000 predefined coordinate reference systems in its database, Blue Marble Geographics believes ArcGIS-friendly GeoCalc is the world’s most comprehensive coordinate conversion development tool and I think so too.

The new GeoCalc 6.4.5 now provides support for some Geoid definitions, Alberta Township System grids, Horizontal Time Dependant Positioning’s (HTDP) date stamped coordinate reference frames and it is also handles NULL strings better than previous versions. Temporary evaluation licenses are available, feel free to check out GeoCalc 6.4.5.
