Surprise! Surprise! The much talked about Nikon D300S DSLR camera actually shoots lousy HD videos and now the whole world knows about it, thanks to Nikon Rumors who gave it a quick test in a Best Buy store a few days ago.

Ever heard of the dreaded Jelly Effect in video photography? Guess what, Nikon D300S has it!


Nikon D300S has contrast-detect AF (auto focus), a supposedly cool feature that should give photographers more agility but here’s the bad news. It is too damn slow!


Note:

Nikon Rumors shot those videos in default settings. There is a possibility that in the hands of professionals, Nikon D300S can take awesome HD videos.
