Do you know that OpenDNS is currently blocking Twitter? What are they trying to say, Twitter is evil?

OpenDNS blocks Twitter. Twitter is evil!?

I woke up with a big surprise in the morning today. OpenDNS, the free DNS resolution service provider that is supposed to provide a safer and faster Internet blocks access to Twitter, a hugely popular microblogging/micro-blogging platform!

OpenDNS blocks Twitter. Twitter is evil!?

Bear in mind that OpenDNS is quite popular among parents and businesses, is it possible that both parties (parents & businesses) have flagged Twitter as evil (perhaps a time-waster for kids and employees) and OpenDNS gleefully blocks access to Twitter?

A quick check on OpenDNS’s Site Checker revealed that Twitter has been tagged with some outrageous tags. Example; Adult themes, Tasteless and even Dating! It looks pretty bad and I hope Twitter head honchos will do something about this fast. It does seem that Twitter’s reputation is on the line here.
