We have a few ways of sending and receiving PayPal funds on Twitter but today let’s take a quick look at Twippr, a promising new service that is in the process of integrating PayPal with their micropayment processing service. Take note that Twippr is still under beta development but you can go and test their system today if you like.

I gave Twippr a quick peek and found that you can send money on Twitter simply:
  1. By entering the amount of money that you want to send and the Twitter username of your intended recipient on Twippr or
  2. By sending DMs (Twitter direct messages).

Like what I have said earlier, Twippr is a micropayment processing service provider. What it means is that you cannot send big amount of money with Twippr, Twippr expects their service to be used by Twitterers to send small tips and donations on Twitter.

Cool and convenient but I have grave concerns here. We all know that it is so damn easy for hackers and spammers to hack into Twitter; do you think that it is 100% safe to send money to others on Twitter right now?
