Making money with AdSense just got easier for bloggers on Blogger

Do you know that bloggers on Blogger/Blogspot can easily setup and display Google AdSense ads via their ‘Monetize’ link (under the Layout tab)?

Making money with AdSense just got easier for bloggers on Blogger

Blogger quietly rolled out a new feature earlier today that makes it even easier for bloggers on Blogger/Blogspot to make a little bit of money from Google AdSense. The new feature is yet to be officially announced but Blogger did give it a quick mention via Twitter.

The new feature is a new link (look for ‘Monetize’) and bloggers can find it right under the Layout tab (see the following image). Google AdSense publishers that have blogs on Blogger/Blogspot but yet to display AdSense ads on their blogs can click on the ‘Monetize’ link to proceed with their AdSense ads placement.

The bad news is that the new feature only allows bloggers on Blogger/Blogspot to place AdSense ads on the sidebar and/or below their blog posts. New bloggers/AdSense publishers might find this handy but I don’t think experienced bloggers/AdSense publishers will bother with this new feature since they have their own ingenious placement and positioning ideas. :)

Nonetheless, a quick round of applause must be given to Blogger for making it much easier for bloggers on Blogger/Blogspot to make money from Google AdSense! :)

Note:

The new feature is also available in Blogger in Draft.

Hi there Geogy,

Bloggers on other blogging platforms can make money too, many say that they can make more than bloggers on Blogger/Blogspot but I don't really care since my main source of online income comes from affiliate marketing/selling stuffs and not blogging.

I took a peek at your blog just now and I think you can monetize your blog with Nuffnang. Google it for links. Good luck. :)
