MacBook firmware updates failed to solve 4GB RAM problem

Latest firmware updates for MacBooks, MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs still failed to let users run their MacBooks with 4GB of RAM/memory.

Apple released the following firmware updates last Wednesday:
  • MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.6
  • MacBook Pro 15-inch SMC Firmware Update 1.2
  • MacBook EFI Firmware Update 1.3
  • MacBook SMC Firmware Update 1.2
  • MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 1.1
  • MacBook Air SMC Firmware Update 1.1

Yes, those were the good news for MacBook lovers but unfortunately those firmware updates still failed to let MacBook users run their MacBooks with 4GB of RAM/memory!

Check out the following comment, obviously made by someone who is really angry with Apple:
…You all realize that your precious Apple computers are the ONLY computers on the planet that say they will work with 4gb of RAM and DON'T, or at best ONLY SOMETIMES and only (possibly!) if you pay exorbitant prices for the same third party memory you could buy elsewhere.

Sheer idiocy! This is another perfect example of sloppy Apple engineering, and the braindead fanboys are taking the consumer to task for not spending enough money to make the problem go away…

Yeah, Apple sucks alright!
