How to enable HP Mini 1000’s 3G Modem


Officially, HP Mini 1000 will only supports 3G Wireless Broadband connections next month but it seems that HP has quietly shipped out new HP Mini 1000 netbooks with the 3G capability onboard.

It should be right inside its battery compartment. Pop the cover open, remove the battery and look for a SIM card slot somewhere at the edge of the battery compartment.

How to enable HP Mini 1000’s 3G Modem

Download and install the necessary 3G driver from HP. Once completed, you can insert your SIM card (make sure you have a Wireless Broadband data plan) and you’re good to go. :-)
