Herbert Elwood Gilliland III: The YouTube Inventor

Fact: Officially, YouTube was created by three former PayPal employees; Steve Chen Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim back in 2005.

Controversy: One guy from out of nowhere says that he too has a hand in YouTube’s creation. He claims that YouTube’s name and concept were his ideas. No, that guy is not Hubert Chang. It’s a new guy this time around that goes by the name of Herbert Elwood Gilliland III.

TechCrunch has the capability and resources to solve this controversy but they are not going to do anything about it. Rightfully so! Anybody can give ideas but those that stick with their ideas and execute them until they become realities are the real winners. :-)

It's the name on my birth certificate, man. I'm not using an alias. I'm adopted though: my original name was something else, now lost. I've heard it may have been Mark Logan or Anthony Popluhar. I'm part Sequoyah and part Irish. Well, enjoy the website! Sorry if the video was a little wierd, I'm more personable under different circumstances. I mean: how DO you "come out" about the truth when someone else is lying? And yeah, it all seems a little petty when you're talking about money. We could all use a buck in the late 2008 economy. Cheers. -h3
