Yes (very much to the disappointment of McCain’s supporters), Barack Obama will be the first American President to have his own Official Twitter account at Twitter. That was the latest announcement at the tweeting Twitter Blog. Twitter also brags about their ability to keep to their tweet-delivering system up and running with no down time (no whales spotted?) whatsoever last Tuesday, the US Election Day. Pretty amazing I guess since traffic at major news sites were tripling on that day and some sites had down times. Well done, Twitter (follow me via @homebiss)! You finally did something right for a change. :-)
