Google goes Arabic and they pissed off real Arabs?

Google Labs has launched Google Arabic Transliteration service to help non-Arabs or those who do not understand Arabic convert Roman characters to Arabic characters.

Google Arabic Transliteration

Great! Many thanks to Google for coming up with such a nifty service that competes nicely with Yamli’s (I like Yamli’s Real-Time Transliteration of Arabic Language better) but unfortunately many are not happy with Google’s decision to promote their Arabic Transliteration service via Google AdWords.

Yeah… Google do has this peculiar habit of promoting their own products/services with Google AdWords. I do notice that they have been promoting Chrome via AdWords in the last few months and now they are promoting another?

Perhaps AdSense publishers should consider adding Google and their products/services in their respective Competitive Ad Filter lists. :-)
