TwitterSafe: Backup solution for Twitter!?

TwitterSafe, Twitter, Backup Solution

Do you know that there is a new backup solution provider for concerned Twitterers out there?

The latest Twitter backup solution provider to break into the scene is TwitterSafe. TwitterSafe is currently running in Beta and can only backup your list of Followers for the time being. You can also download your backup reports as Excel documents to your hard disk.

That’s about it for TwitterSafe!

However, TwitterSafe has some big plans for their Twitter backup solution service. Expect to see restoration services and backup support for more Twitter data streams (Updates, Replies, Direct & Sent Messages plus Favorites) at TwitterSafe in the near future.

I have taken a look at TwitterSafe and I must say that I’m a bit disappointed. I don’t like the idea doing manual backups and that is what you have to do at TwitterSafe. It would be nice if TwitterSafe (Twitter neither endorse nor recommend TwitterSafe to their community members) can provide automated backup solutions for Twitterers.

Check it out if you like.

By the way, TechCrunch came up with a good post explaining why Twitter is still breathing and looks charming to Twitterers even though there are many Twitter alternatives out there at the moment. Go ahead and read it today.
