Rags to riches: Sir James Dyson!

Folks!

I have a new segment for this blog as of today and I will start by featuring Sir James Dyson, a well known British industrial designer. He is world famous for his revolutionary Dual Cyclone bag-less vacuum cleaner invention that works on the principle of cyclonic separation.

By today’s standard, we can consider him then as an aspiring technopreneur who had tremendous passion to make common things work better. Sir James Dawson was an excellent example of a very successfully home based technopreneur. His success story started in the 1970s. His first product then was the Sea Truck and he made well over $500 million of sales from it! He doesn’t stop there folks, he then introduced the Ballbarrow that cleverly replaces the normal wheel that we used to see on ordinary wheelbarrow with a rolling ball! He then applied the very same concept to his Trolleyball invention that revolutionized the way people do shopping back then in the 1980s in the United Kingdom!

Take note that Forbes recognized Sir James Dawson as one of the world’s top billionaire today. He is currently ranked at number 746!

Who says you cannot make money, lots of money by tinkering with existing products? :-)

By the way folks, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that Dyson (Sir James Dyson’s company) has a brand new site in the online world today. Dyson’s awesome new site has everything you need to know about the company and the products that they have in the market today. The site also has a brand new online store and you can shop however you like. I was told that there are many cheap imitation Dyson parts out there in the market. Proud Dyson product owners can take comfort in knowing that they can order Dyson genuine accessories at their brand new site.

There you are folks! I sincerely hope that Sir James Dawson success story would inspire you to work harder from home. Who knows, maybe one day you will be just as wealthy and famous as Sir James Dawson himself! :-)
