Oh my! Oh my! Samsung has hit another huge milestone with their sizzling hot Android-powered Galaxy S II smartphone! The awesome Korean company has sold 2 million units of Galaxy S II in motherland Korea!


According to Samsung, Galaxy S II only took 73 days to hit its 2 millionth sales milestone, shaving an incredible 71 days off the previous record which was held by the Galaxy S II’s older brother, Galaxy S (android-powered too!). Samsung is now confident that their new Galaxy S II will break Galaxy S’s past proud record of 3.2 million units sold in motherland Korea! Samsung is ecstatic and you can’t blame them for making plans to celebrate Galaxy S II’s huge success. Samsung has some interesting events in the pipeline and one of them will definitely make some Galaxy S II users in Korea very happy. 4,000 of them will each get the chance to win a new, special edition Galaxy S II battery cover for free!
