Yellowsn0w can unlock iPhone 3G 2.28.00

Yellowsn0w, iPhone Dev Team’s iPhone Unlock tool can work on the new 2.28.00 baseband firmware. Good news for iPhone 3G users!

The iPhone Dev Team has yet to release Yellowsn0w but their latest post seems to indicate that Yellowsn0w, their iPhone Unlock tool will work on new iPhone 3Gs that are preinstalled with the 2.28.00 baseband firmware. If that is true, this might also mean that Yellowsn0w will also work on any iPhone 3G that has been upgraded with the 2.2 OS/Software Update.

Take note that the iPhone Dev Team previously said that their iPhone Unlock tool will only work on jailbroken iPhone 3Gs that have baseband firmware of 2.11.07 or earlier.

Anonymous,

Hey, you're right! I have to be more careful with Flickr photos now, some were tagged with wrong tags. I use Ubiquity to grab Flickr photos and the process works automatically. Works fine so far but you have pointed something very interesting here. Appreciate it! :)
